| Creating a search engine for your web site does not have to be difficult! Search Engine Studio automatically indexes your web site (with a HTTP crawler, an FTP / local disk scanner, or using an XML file) and then creates a professional, ultra fast search engine for your website (as a binary CGI script or PHP script) or an offline search for CD-ROM / DVD distributions. No installation on server required thanks to a built-in highly optimized database engine! The difference between Search Engine Studio and other search engine generators is that it uses its own highly optimized database engine so there is absolutely no installation required on the server. All you need to do is follow a few easy steps of the assistant to have the program automatically index your website and then upload the required files to your server. Everything the search engine needs will be located on your server without any references to other websites to ensure best possible performance. The search results will not display any ads or other unwanted content and for the first time you can fully customize the displayed result page appearance. This software indexes dynamic (e.g. ASP, PHP, CGI, JSP, ColdFusion) and static HTML pages, PDF documents and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) documents. - URL filter can contain multiple root URLs
- new Title Transformation Rules: this is a new tool which changes document titles during the indexing process. The titles that match a certain rule, e.g. containing a specific substring, can be modified. This is very useful to e.g. remove common prefixes/suffixes in some of the titles. You can either use regular expressions to fully customize the rules or simple add/remove/replace rules.
- statistics: the search scripts now optionally log all search queries entered by the users. The log file can then be analyzed using the log analyzer application. Some of the possibilities of the log analyzer: you can see latest queries entered, queries without results, most frequent queries. You can also do the above operations using a filter to limit the log results to queries containing a specific substring. You can also open multiple log files and see a combined report.

2. FULL (REGISTERED) VERSION
One license of Search Engine Studio allows installation of the registered version on a single computer only.
This license grants permission to create unlimited number of search engines, however their distribution depends on the licence type purchased.
There are three license types:
- Web license -- this license grants permission to create unlimited number of outputs (search engines) as long as all these outputs will be either available on an Internet web site (accessible by all Internet users) or used for personal purposes;
- Intranet license -- this license grants permission to create unlimited number of outputs (search engines) which can be distributed by any means (such as Intranet or Internet web site) with the exception of CD-ROM/DVD distributions;
- CD-ROM license -- this license grants permission to create unlimited number of outputs (search engines) which can be distributed by any means, such as CD-ROM/DVD distributions, Internet or Intranet web site;
2a. Distribution of the full version
You are specifically prohibited from distributing the full version of the software.
3. DEMO (UNREGISTERED) VERSION
3a. Evaluation of the demo version and Registration
This is not free software. You are hereby licensed to use the demo version for evaluation or personal purposes without charge.
If you want to use this software without restrictions or for purposes other than evaluation, a registration fee (found on the Web at http://www.xtreeme.com/searchenginestudio/order) is required. When payment is received you will be sent a registration key.
