Xml2PDF Hotfolder is a server application for automated convertion of XSL-FO, SVG, XHTML and WordML files to PDF. It is based on Altsoft Xml2PDF .NET API formatting engine and brings its power into multithreaded server-side solutions.
This software uses the common strategy named hot or watch folders. It looks in certain folders called "hot folders" for XSL-FO, SVG, XHTML or XML files. When Xml2PDF Hotfolder finds a file in one of these hot folders, it converts the file into PDF and moves the resulting PDF document (and, optionally, the source XML file or an associated log file) to the output folder.
There are no restrictions on the number of "hot folders". All folders are configured separately and may use different formatter configurations, separate XSL transformations, tread priorities and other settings. |

END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
NOTICE TO USER
YOU SHOULD CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT BEFORE INSTALLING THIS SOFTWARE. BY INSTALLING, COPYING, OR OTHERWISE USING THIS SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE.
Altsoft N.V. (hereinafter referred to as the "Altsoft") is the exclusive worldwide owner of all rights in certain computer software and related documentation pertaining to ?Xml2PDF Hotfolder?, hereinafter referred to as the "Software".
1. GRANT
A. As long as You comply with the terms of this End User License Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") Altsoft grants to You a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to:
(i) install and use one (1) copy of the Software on your compatible computer;
(ii) make one backup copy of the Software, provided your backup copy is not installed or used on any computer;
(iii) make a second copy of the Software for your exclusive use on either a portable computer or a computer located at your home, provided the Software on the portable or home computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary computer.
B. No server or network use of the Software is permitted, including but not limited to use of the Software either directly or through commands, data or instructions from or to another computer or for internal network, internet or web hosting services.
C. THE COPYRIGHT AND ALL OTHER RIGHTS IN THE SOFTWARE AND THE SOFTWARE DOCUMENTATION REMAIN WITH ALTSOFT.
D. You shall not:
(i) use or copy the Software other than as permitted by this Agreement;
(ii) permit any third party to use the Software or the Software documentation nor use the same on behalf of or for the benefit of any third party in any way whatever except as otherwise provided in this Agreement;
(iii) modify, adapt, merge, translate, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Software, except as permitted by this Agreement; or
(iv) sell, assign, rent, sub-license, loan, mortgage, charge or otherwise deal in any way in the Software or Software documentation or any interest in them except as expressly provided in this Agreement; or
(vi) permit the whole or any part of the Software to be combined with or incorporated in any other product that are substantially similar to or compete with the Software.
2. EQUITABLE REMEDIES
You hereby agree that Altsoft would be irreparably damaged if the terms of this Agreement were not specifically enforced, and therefore You agree that Altsoft shall be entitled, without bond, other security, or proof of damages, to appropriate equitable remedies with respect to breaches of this Agreement, in addition to such other remedies as Altsoft may otherwise have available to it under applicable laws. In the event that any litigation is brought by either party in connection with this Agreement, the prevailing party in such litigation shall be entitled to recover from the other party all the costs, attorneys' fees, and other expenses incurred by such prevailing party in the litigation.
3. DISCLAIMER
ALTSOFT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY FOR THE SOFTWARE. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE ENTIRE RISK ARISING OUT OF USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE REMAINS WITH YOU.
4. TERMINATION
This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate the Agreement at any time by destroying the Software. Altsoft may, at its discretion, terminate this Agreement in the event that You fail to comply with the terms and conditions contained herein. In such event, You must immediately destroy the Software.
5. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
It is expressly agreed that this Agreement embodies the entire agreement of You and Altsoft in relation to the subject matter herein, and that there is no other oral or written agreement or understanding. Further, this Agreement cannot be modified except by the written agreement of all parties hereto. |
