Volt is a power monitoring and controlling utility. The primary function of this program is to provide a visual display of the internal battery state of a Laptop Computer. This can be shown via a compact window with a graph and a text line, or by a simple icon with pop-up status in the system tray. The window can be set to stay on, or when the battery state changes according to the users preference. It also can be placed in various set places, or be movable. The window can also be set to be on-top of other windows.
The secondary function of Volt is a Quick Shutdown utility, supporting all forms of shutdown, including remote and hibernation. There is a warn option as well as an option to force a shutdown for closing un-responding programs. In addition Volt supports shutdown on idle, delayed shutdowns, command line options and logging.Volt is written in Assembly Language for maximum efficiency taking up under 100KB of hard drive space |

| Permission is given for all forms of distribution, including CD compilations and Websites. Just keep it in the ZIP file to keep the files together. Once you have evaluated Volt then you are required to pay the Registration Fee if you wish to continue using it. How long can you evaluate Volt for? As long as you see fit! However, the program will start reminding (nagging) you of Volts Shareware status after about 30 days. Registered users receive priority support, but currently all EMails are responded to as fast as possible.
Sinner Computing accepts no liability for this software to the maximum extent allowable by law. Installing this software is the decision of the installer, and signifies that you agree with this liability statement.
