The Sleuthhound is an easy-to-use Personal Document Search Tool, which operates like a Web Search Engine on your hard drive. Create 'Search Zones' with a 1-2-3 wizard. Folders and directories and entire drives can be included and automatically updated in search zones. Searches can be done by keyword (one, several, many), or by using file path or dates. Boolean searches and use of wildcards are also supported. Keywords are returned instantly with the location in document, and the document title, file-path, icon, folder location and keyword context. Results are displayed in an internal browser. View multiple occurrences of search words in the results browser. Advance to further keyword occurrence also available in the internal viewer. Single-click opening of documents in the associated application. Easy maintenance and update of search zones is available through a built in scheduler and can be done automatically when Windows starts by placing The Sleuthhound in the Start-Up group. Configure program to use many European languages. Configurable results browser and new copy text functions, save search option and favourite searches added.
The Sleuthhound has a simple to use interface. Specify the Search Zone with targetted folders for search, enter the keyword and clicking"Find it"produces an instant keyword result and the located documents in the browser. Shareware version returns searches for TXT, HTM, HTML and MS Word documents and Outlook Express mail folders. Users may upgrade to Professional version to obtain further document search capacity via plug-ins. Pro version will search for RTF, ANSI and ASCI text, and many other docuement type files via universal converter. Additional plug-ins for the PRO version support WordPerfect, Adobe PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, MP3, MHT and Extended HTML file types. All result displays are configurable. Configure program to search many European languages and display results with all accented characters. |

document data, folder name. Sorts may be either ascending or descending.
The Sleuthhound! uses complex and nested query with logical
operator AND, OR, NOT, ().
The Sleuthhound! automatically recognizes text coding (ASCII,
ANSI, Unicode) and searches for the most popular types of documents.
The Sleuthhound! can be run when starting Windows for automatic
watch over your folders and documents.
The Sleuthhound! has amusing, attractive look like a real hound!
In addition you can now get an easy way to organize your notes with
The Sleuthhound!.

Please read this License Agreement before using this software. By using
this software, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this
License. If you do not agree to these terms, promptly cease all further
installation or use of the software. It is agreed that certain
restrictions under this License only apply to The Sleuthhound! software
or, as the case may be, to The Sleuthhound! Professional Edition
software.
DEFINITIONS
==========
In this Agreement,"iSleuthHound"means"iSleuthHound Technologies";"LICENSEE"means you, the licensee of the software;"SOFTWARE"means
the The Sleuthhound! or The Sleuthhound! Professional Edition software,
depending on the product type purchased or used by the LICENSEE,
including any technology and utility software licensed by iSleuthHound
from the developers and owners thereof to iSleuthHound, together with
all accompanying documentation.
LICENSE
=======
In consideration of your undertaking to comply with the terms and
conditions of this License Agreement, iSleuthHound grants you, the
LICENSEE, a non-exclusive license to use the Software and to view the
documentation on a single computer system. It is also agreed that the
License granted to the LICENSEE pertaining The Sleuthhound!
Professional Edition is non-transferable. The LICENSEE may not use the
Software on a network server or on more than one computer terminal at
the same time. This Agreement does not grant the LICENSEE any rights to
patents, copyrights, trade names, trade marks (whether registered or
unregistered), or any other rights, functions or licenses in respect of
the Software.
EVALUATION LICENSE
=================
If you have obtained an evaluation copy of the Software, and have not
purchased a license to the Software, iSleuthHound grants you a 30-day
non-exclusive license to use the Software, where a day is only counted
if the Software is run ("used"), free of charge for the purpose of
evaluating whether you wish to purchase an ongoing license for the
Software.
WARNING: Evaluation copies of the Software will become non-functional
after thirty (30) days, where a day is only counted if the Software is
run ("used"), following initial installation on your computer.
iSleuthHound disclaims all liability and responsibility for any loss of
data or other information, which may occur as a result thereof.
You may distribute the evaluation version archive and make as many
copies as you like provided that it is the official evaluation version
archive. You are required to verify this.
You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting donations,
for any such copies, however made and from distributing the software

COPYRIGHT AND RESTRICTIONS ON USE

The Sleuthhound! software. The LICENSEE may not sub-license, assign
or transfer this License. The LICENSEE may not copy the printed
information in the package. The LICENSEE may not adapt or use any
trademark or trade name which is likely to be similar to or confusing
with that of iSleuthHound or any of its licensors or take any other
action which impairs or reduces the trademark rights of iSleuthHound or
of its licensors.
The LICENSEE may make one copy of the Software for backup or archival
purposes, provided that the LICENSEE duplicates the copyright notice
and other identifying information on the disk's label and affix such
notice to the backup copy. The LICENSEE may print a copy of the
documentation from the disk only for the LICENSEE's use for the sole
purpose of operating the Software.

1977-1999. All responsibility for Adobe PDF documents is specifically
disclaimed.

NO WARRANTY

iSleuthHound does not warrant, guarantee or make any representations
that the functions contained in the Software will meet the LICENSEE's
requirements or that the operation of the Software will be
uninterrupted or error-free. Any other Software and any hardware
furnished with or accompanying the Software is not warranted by
iSleuthHound.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The software is provided"as is"without warranty of any kind, either
expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied
warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To
the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will
iSleuthhound and/or its distributors or licensors, be liable for any
indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damage in

GOVERNING LAW.

This license will be governed by the laws of the State of Russia as
they are applied to agreements between Russian residents entered into
and to be performed entirely within Russia. The United Nations
Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is
specifically disclaimed.
TERMINATION
===========
This License shall remain in full force and effect unless and until
terminated. This License will terminate immediately, automatically and
without notice if the LICENSEE fails to comply with any provision of
this Agreement. Upon termination, the LICENSEE must stop using the
Software, erase or destroy all copies of the Software, and destroy all
printed information provided with the Software.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
===============
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and
iSleuthHound Technologies and supersedes any other prior agreements or
communications regarding the Software. If any provision of this
agreement is held invalid, the remainder of this agreement shall
continue in effect.
WAIVER
======
The failure by iSleuthHound Technologies or any of its licensors to
enforce at any time any of the provisions of this agreement, to
exercise any election or option provided herein, or to require at any
time the performance by you of any of the provisions herein will not in
any way be construed as a waiver of such provisions.
