SpamBurner is more than a spam filtering tool, it is also a great e-mail reader, which can help protect you from e-mail based viruses as well (as it allows viewing of messages in text form, even if the message has complex HTML and Javascript coding! SpamBurner strips it down, and makes it readable -- plus, if you have Microsoft's Outlook or Outlook Express installed on your system, you can conveniently open the message with Microsoft's e-mail viewer from within SpamBurner if you want to see the HTML code, pictures, etc... without having to download the message into your e-mail program's inbox! ...so if it's spam, it won't even have a chance to clutter up your e-mail.)
SpamBurner supports the POP3 e-mail protocol, will work through most types of proxies, and supports an unlimited number of e-mail accounts. It also works with Yahoo! Mail and other web-mail services that offer a POP3 capability. It can also clean up offline e-mail in Qualcomm Eudora and Microsoft Outlook e-mail programs.
SpamBurner also has a really powerful WHOIS-Lookup feature (we call it AutoWHOIS), which lets you do WHOIS lookups from any hostname OR IP address -- it also is able to auto-detect the appropriate WHOIS servers, and it is integrated with SpamBurner's message viewer -- you select the part of the message headers you want to do a WHOIS on, and right-click, then click WHOIS. AutoWHOIS also supports proxy servers. |

The following text is a license agreement (between you (and possibly your organization) and NewestStuff.com LLC) -- basically a LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT that is supposed to protect us from unnecessary litigation. As a shareware company we do not have the resources to combat any frivolous lawsuits.
In essence, it says that we (NewestStuff.com LLC) provide NO WARRANTIES (especially *NOT* ones you can sue us for), but rather allow a limited evaluation period for the software (so the users (you) can try it free of charge, and decide if you want it or not before paying us anything). Additionally, it says that we (NewestStuff.com LLC) disclaim any and all liabilities to the maximum extent permissible under the law (again, to avoid costly and unnecessary legal expenses). NOTICE TO ALL USERS: CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING LEGAL AGREEMENT ("AGREEMENT"), FOR THE LICENSE OF SPECIFIED SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("SOFTWARE", or "SpamBurner") PRODUCED BY NewestStuff.com LLC. ("NewestStuff.com"). BY CLICKING THE "Yes" (or ACCEPT) BUTTON, INSTALLING, OR USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU (EITHER AN INDIVIDUAL OR A SINGLE ENTITY) CONSENT TO BE BOUND BY AND BECOME A PARTY TO THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, CLICK THE BUTTON THAT INDICATES THAT YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND DO NOT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE:
The SOFTWARE is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. NewestStuff.com grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the SOFTWARE. The SOFTWARE is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under the terms of this Agreement.
You may install the SOFTWARE on a single or multiple computer(s) for evaluation purposes, as long as the COMBINED evaluation period does not exceed thirty (30) days; after that time you must either register the SOFTWARE (by buying and installing the appropriate number of non-evaluation-use licenses) or delete it from your computer(s) hard drive(s). Use of the SOFTWARE for more than a thirty (30) day evaluation period, without purchasing the appropriate number of non-evaluation-use licenses, is a violation of the terms of this limited license.
If and when you purchase and install one or more non-evaluation use licenses, you may continue using the software beyond the 30-day evaluation period on the quantity of system(s) specified by your license(s).
2. RESTRICTIONS:
You may not rent, lease, loan or resell the SOFTWARE without special permission from NewestStuff.com. You may not permit third parties to benefit from the use or functionality of the SOFTWARE via a timesharing, service bureau or any other arrangement, except to the extent such use is specified in the applicable price list, purchase order, or product packaging for the SOFTWARE. You may not transfer any of the rights granted to you under this Agreement. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE, except to the extent the foregoing restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law. You may not modify, or create derivative works based upon, the SOFTWARE in whole or in part. You may not copy the SOFTWARE or any Documentation except as a complete shareware distribution package provided by NewestStuff.com LLC, or identical to one on NewestStuff.com's web site. You may not publicize or distribute any registration code algorithms, information, or registration codes used by this SOFTWARE without contractual permission from NewestStuff.com LLC. You may not publicize or distribute any unauthorized patches or add-ons for this SOFTWARE. You may not remove any proprietary notices or labels on the SOFTWARE. All rights not expressly set forth hereunder are reserved by NewestStuff.com LLC. NewestStuff.com reserves the right to authenticate registrations, and periodically conduct audits upon advance written notice to verify compliance with the terms of this Agreement. Audits will be conducted during normal business hours. All audits shall be conducted at Licensor's expense unless the results establish that Licensee has underpaid Licensor by more than 5% of the amount actually due, in which case Licensee shall pay all amounts due and bear the expense of the audit.
3. UPDATES:
You may continue your evaluation period through multiple different versions of the SOFTWARE, as long as your total evaluation time period does not exceed 30 days. Also, once you register, your registration code may be applied to product updates. NewestStuff.com LLC will attempt to provide future versions of the SOFTWARE for no additional fee, although major product UPGRADES may require an additional purchase. In any case, all product UPDATES (bug fix releases) will not require any additional payments.
Exception: if a registration code is distributed (by you or someone else) to the general public, that registration code will become invalid in the next version, to prevent mass piracy of the SOFTWARE. In order to avoid this, please ensure that any registration codes pertaining to license(s) you purchase remain confidential!
4. OWNERSHIP RIGHTS:
The SOFTWARE is protected by United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions. NewestStuff.com LLC and its suppliers own and retain all rights, titles and interests in and to the SOFTWARE, including all copyrights, patents, trade secret rights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights therein. You acknowledge that your possession, installation, or use of the SOFTWARE does not transfer to you any title to the intellectual property in the SOFTWARE, and that you will not acquire any rights to the SOFTWARE except as expressly set forth in this Agreement. You agree that any copies of the SOFTWARE and any Documentation will contain the same proprietary notices which appear on and in the SOFTWARE and any Documentation.
5. DISTRIBUTION:

Furthermore, if you fail to abide by the terms and conditions of this license agreement, NewestStuff.com LLC may cancel your license to use the SOFTWARE, in which case you must uninstall and cease to use all copies of the SOFTWARE.
If a registration code is distributed (by you or someone else) to the general public, that registration code will become invalid in the next version, to prevent mass piracy of the SOFTWARE. In order to avoid this, please ensure that any registration codes pertaining to license(s) you purchase remain confidential!
7. LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES:
Due to the nature of shareware, which allows users to evaluate the SOFTWARE before purchase, warranties are not really necessary. THEREFORE, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED WITH ALL FAULTS, AND THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO SATISFACTORY QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, ACCURACY, AND FITNESS IS WITH THE USER.
However, we stand behind the quality of our software, and will do our best to fix any problems IN OUR SOFTWARE that people experience, and also to continue to improve THE SOFTWARE whenever it is possible for us.
8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NewestStuff.com AND ITS SUPPLIERS PROVIDE THE SOFTWARE ON AN "AS IS" BASIS, AND WITH ALL FAULTS, AND HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY (IF ANY) IMPLIED WARRANTIES, DUTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OF RELIABILITY OR AVAILABILITY, OF ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF RESPONSES, OF RESULTS, OF WORKMANLIKE EFFORT, OF LACK OF VIRUSES, AND OF LACK OF NEGLIGENCE, ALL WITH REGARD TO THE SOFTWARE, AND THE PROVISION OF OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT OR OTHER SERVICES, INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, AND RELATED CONTENT THROUGH THE SOFTWARE OR OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE. ALSO, THERE IS NO WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, QUIET POSSESSION, CORRESPONDENCE TO DESCRIPTION OR NON-INFRINGEMENT WITH REGARD TO THE SOFTWARE.
You assume complete responsibility for selecting the SOFTWARE to achieve your intended results, and for the installation of, use of, and results obtained from the software.
NewestStuff.com makes no warranty that the SOFTWARE will be error-free or free from interruptions or other failures or that the software will meet your requirements.
Some states and jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER IN TORT, CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL NewestStuff.com OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, OR FOR ANY AND ALL OTHER DAMAGES OR LOSSES. IN NO EVENT WILL NewestStuff.com BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT NewestStuff.com RECEIVED FROM YOU FOR THE NON-EVALUATION-USE LICENSE(S) YOU PURCHASED FOR THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF NewestStuff.com SHALL HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY OTHER PARTY. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SHALL NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE LAW PROHIBITS SUCH LIMITATION. 10. MISCELLANEOUS:
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States of America, without reference to conflict of laws principles. The application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. This Agreement sets forth all rights for the user of the SOFTWARE and is the entire agreement between the parties. This agreement supersedes any other communications with respect to the SOFTWARE and any Documentation. This Agreement may not be modified except by a written addendum issued by a duly authorized representative of NewestStuff.com LLC. No provision hereof shall be deemed waived unless such waiver shall be in writing and signed by NewestStuff.com LLC or a duly authorized representative of NewestStuff.com LLC. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. The parties confirm that it is their wish that this Agreement has been written in the English language only. NewestStuff.com LLC may identify you as a customer of NewestStuff.com LLC and describe in a mutually agreeable Customer Case Study the services and solutions delivered by NewestStuff.com to you. NewestStuff.com may also issue one or more mutually agreeable press releases containing an announcement of the execution and delivery of this Agreement and/or the implementation of the Products by you. No such document or release shall include any information considered Confidential by you. Your approval to any such document or release shall not be unreasonably withheld and shall be deemed given unless you indicate otherwise in writing within ten (10) days of delivery of the proposed document or release.
