Support for: extra and skipped payments or deposits; Rule-of-78's; Canadian type loans; APR disclosure statements; evaluation of loan acceleration scenarios. Payment
&
compounding periods may be independently set. 10 payment periods: daily, weekly, biweekly, twice monthly, every 4 weeks, monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, semiannually
&
annually. Additionally, there is support for simple interest and continuous compounding.
There is an amortization schedule as well as annuity, future value, present value and rental income schedules. Cash flow amounts
&
interest rates may be changed over a schedule's term.
SolveIT! features a set of Financial Advisors. These are "wizard like" calculators which take the user through a series of questions. Once the questions are answered, a text answer is produced which provides advice on the best course of action to follow. There are four advisors: Break Even Point, Lease vs. Finance, Loan Comparison and Refinance.
The Budget Calculator will produce 12 monthly projected and/or actual budgets. Annual cash flow statements can be prepared. The user can change the category descriptions to meet their needs. The Net Worth calculator produces a personalized net worth statement.
Two popular calculators are the Payment Required Calculator and the Affordable House Calculator. The Affordable House looks at cash on hand, income and projected expenses as well as the percentage of income to be allocate toward housing. After considering all these variables, it then calculates an affordable price.

If you are a disk vendor or maintain any type of download site (referred to as the Distributor), you are granted a limited license by Pine Grove Software (the Publisher) to distribute SolveIT!, The Financial Calculator (referred to as the Software) with the following restrictions:
1) You may charge a reasonable amount of money to recover your disk duplicating fees and promotional costs. However, IN NO EVENT MAY YOU CHARGE MORE THAN $5.00 FOR EACH COPY OF THE SOFTWARE.
2) A distributor may not modify any of the files as documented. All files as supplied by Pine Grove Software must be included in any distribution of the Software. A distributor MAY also distribute an appropriate advertising notice along with the Software files as supplied by Pine Grove Software.
3) The Software may not be distributed in a manner which is used to promote another product or service. For example, the Software cannot be promoted along with the sale of a computer system in such a way as to appear to add value to the computer system. That is, a computer or other tangible property or service can not be promoted at X price which includes a phrase that implies that the price includes the Software.
3a) In order to distribute the Software along with other goods or services, the Distributor MUST include in a conspicuous manner the phrase, "INCLUDES AN EVALUTATION COPY" of the Software. "ADDITIONAL LICENSE FEES ARE DUE THE PUBLISHER". (Caps added for emphasis in this document and are not required as part of the disclaimer.)
4) Distributors must plainly indicate that they are distributing a copy of the Software for evaluation purposes only, and they must indicated that if the person evaluating the Software intends to use the Software beyond the evaluation period, that a license fee is due to Pine Grove Software
5) The Distributor must make every reasonable attempt to only distribute the current version of the Software. This means that when the Distributor is informed about the availability of a new version of the Software, the Distributor will upgrade their inventory and promotional material to reflect the change in version.
6) The Publisher reserves the right to revoke this license on a case by case basis. |

For each license that you purchase you have the option of using it under terms (A) or (B):
(A) You may install the software on any computer that you own and for which you are the exclusive user;
or
(B) You may install the software on one computer which may be used by multiple individuals.
