| QuickRecord 3 is a compact application for recording and playing sound on a Microsoft Windows PC. It works on Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, 2000, and XP. Recording and playing back directly to and from disk files, QuickRecord 3 maintains the simplicity of the standard Windows Sound Recorder applet but without the restrictions. QuickRecord 3 is ideally suited to personal recording and playback of speech and music, and business applications including live music, conferences, meetings and call centres. QuickRecord 3 is based on the MSSR300 ActiveX control, which can be incorporated into any application requiring the incorporation of similar sound recording or playback facilities. |

This licence applies to the registered version of The Product. If you are using an evaluation version of The Product, see the section titled titled"Evaluation Licence"below.
You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using this software. Unless you have a different licence agreement signed by Product Technology Partners Ltd your use of this software indicates your acceptance of this licence agreement and warranty.
Registered Version
One registered copy of The Product may either be used by a single person who uses the software personally on one or more computers, or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by multiple people, but not both.
The MSSR300 ActiveX control may be distributed without royalty only as part of an application which has the registration key for the control hard coded into the application.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England.
Disclaimer of Warranty
THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD"AS IS"AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OR MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. This is not free software. Subject to the terms below, you are hereby licensed to use The Product for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 30 days. Unregistered use of The Product after the 30-day evaluation period is in violation of U.K. and international copyright laws.
The MSSR300 ActiveX control may not be distributed at all except as part of the evaluation version of The Product.
