Password Saver is an easy-to-use, feature-rich solution for storing all your passwords in a secure, centralized database on your hard drive or a removable media disk. It employs industrial-strength encryption technology and offers export/import functionality designed especially for small to mid-sized teams.
Your password database is protected using industrial-strength 256-bit AES/Rijndael encryption. The amount of time required to crack even a 128-bit AES key, much less a 256-bit key, is estimated to be 149 trillion (thousand-billion) years - longer than our universe has existed. Clearly, as long as you don't write your master password down or share it with others, your passwords will be secure.
Password Saver uses a Microsoft Office-like scheme where each database is stored in a single file. These files are compact and portable - they can be stored on hard drives, USB flash disks, floppy disks, CD-RW disks, ZIP drives, or any other type of fixed or removable media. You can take your passwords with you wherever you go!
Also, since you no longer need to remember your passwords, you can generate random alphanumeric passwords which are proven to be far more secure than human-generated ones. This will greatly enhance the security of your sensitive data and accounts.
The software includes many pre-defined templates for commonly used records such as Web site and Email accounts so you get started adding data right away. However, you are not just limited to the pre-defined templates or even to just storing records with passwords - using custom templates, you can store virtually any kind of data.
The software's advanced import/export features also let you share passwords with co-workers and partners easily and securely. You can export your database or just specific folders and passwords to an encrypted file, and then send these files to your co-workers, who can easily import them to their own databases. You can also export to a text (.txt) file. |

This licence describes the conditions under which you may use version 1.1 of the Password Saver ("the program"). If you are unable or unwilling to accept these conditions in full, then, notwithstanding the conditions in the remainder of this licence, you may not use the program at all.
The program is"try-before-you-buy"software. Unregistered copy of the program can be only used for evaluational purposes during the 15-day trial period. Registration gives you the right to use the program after the 15-day trial period, receive technical support and use features available only for registered users. After the expiration of the 15-day trial period you must either register your copy of the program or stop using it.
Any use of the program which is illegal under international or local law is forbidden by this licence. Any such action is the sole responsibility of the person committing the action.
The program is distributed"AS IS"and you assume full responsibility for determining the suitability of the program and for results obtained.
FRANZ AG makes no warranty that all errors have been or can be eliminated from the program software and, with respect thereto, FRANZ AG shall not be responsible for losses, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind resulting from using or misusing the program including without limitation, any liability for business expenses, machine downtime, damages experienced by you or any third person as a result of any deficiency, defect, bug, error or malfunction. FRANZ AG shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages relating to or arising out of the subject matter of this Agreement or actions taken thereunder.
NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. YOU USE THE PROGRAM AT YOUR OWN RISK. FRANZ AG DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NOBODY WILL BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE.
You may not modify, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the program, or any subset of the program, except to the extent and for the express purposes authorized by applicable law. Any such unauthorised use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this licence and may result in criminal or civil prosecution.
All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by FRANZ AG.
FRANZ AG reserves the right to make exceptions to any of these conditions, or alter these conditions, at any time. However, you may always use these conditions instead of any altered version if you prefer (note that this licence explicitly applies only to one version of the program; therefore, if FRANZ AG makes new conditions in connection with a future version, you do not then have the right to apply these conditions to that version instead).
Installing or using the program signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions of the licence.
If you do not agree with the terms of this licence you must remove the program files from your storage devices and cease to use the program. |
