IntraLaunch is the missing link to this solution, and easily ties everything together.
IntraLaunch is an ActiveX control for Internet Explorer and Netscape. It is primarily designed for corporate Intranets with Windows based workstations and PDAs that need to use a web browser to present menus to their end users or employees. It allows web page links to execute anything from application executables to associations such as Word and Excel documents both locally and across a network via HTTP, SMB, etc.
IntraLaunch can also open several wizards, printers folder, map network drives, deploy smaller applications, shutdown and logoff the workstation, etc. with error control, passwords, sound events all from a web page.
Some of the largest companies in the world use IntraLaunch to build their Intranet interface. IntraLaunch allows IT professionals to easily build flexible, secure, centrally managed web based menuing interfaces for their Intranets or Extranets - in turn raising productivity and ultimately increasing the return on investment for an Intranet. |

IntraLaunch allows HTML links to execute anything from .EXEs to associations such as .DOCs right from a web page. It can also open several Wizards, run dialog box, map network drives, shutdown the workstation, passwords, sound events, etc.
