ExcelliPrint is an affordable IPDS Printing Solution supporting the Intelligent Printer Data Stream (IPDS) protocol. It fully supports the IPDS protocol, accepting IPDS print requests from IBM iSeries and zSeries computers over TCP/IP.
With a single license, ExcelliPrint is able to replace two physical IPDS printers. This can reduce the cost considerably over purchasing separate IPDS capable printers, or adding hardware that implements IPDS printing. ExcelliPrint also prints to all Windows printers, including low-cost inkjet printers for the desktop
ExcelliPrint licensing is not based on the speed of your printers. For this reason, it is more cost effective to use ExcelliPrint than competing products. If you have a 100 page-per-minute printer, ExcelliPrint can use the full speed of the printer. Finishing functions are also supported. You printer may support other features for reducing cost, such as duplexing and stapling, saving on the cost of paper.

ExcelliPrint emulates a high-end IPDS printer. It maintains the advantages of IPDS, including two-way printer and host communication and AFP print capabilities. It provides greater flexibility in selecting print destinations and output types. AS/400 and mainframe users can send AFP/IPDS-based print jobs to Windows-based printers or save the jobs to disk in a variety of formats. Allows users to bypass traditionally expensive printing environments and take advantage of lower-cost, ubiquitous printers and common file formats, like PDF. |
