Drag-N-Dropper is an MS Access module and form that you can add into your Access application to provide drag and drop functionality between text-based Access controls.
Drag-N-Dropper allows text to be moved or copied (using"CTRL-Drag") between text-based MS Access controls (text boxes, combo boxes, and list boxes) by clicking on the desired text, dragging to the new control, and releasing the mouse button. While dragging, Drag-N-Dropper actually displays the dragged text next to the mouse arrow as it is dragged around the screen!
Additionally, Drag-n-Dropper allows you to re-order list box rows with drag and drop. Just drag a list box row to its new position, and release the mouse button. By using a special field in the underlying table, Drag-n-Dropper can move the row, and maintain the new sort order.
It's easy to add into your new or existing applications. Just import the Drag-N-Dropper module and form, add one line of code to each form, then add three lines of code to each control that you will be dragging from.

GRANT OF LICENSE
Peter's Software grants you the following rights which depend on the version of Drag-N-Dropper registered and / or downloaded:
Drag-N-Dropper (demo version):
- is a shareware program. This means that you may test it, and add it into your applications free of charge. You may also distribute it freely to others so they may try it.
Drag-N-Dropper (in-house license):
- can be used for software development on any number of computers within your own company.
- can be incorporated in any applications installed within your own company.
Drag-N-Dropper (unlimited, royalty-free distribution license):
- can be used for software development on any number of computers within your own company.
- can be incorporated (royalty free) into any number of applications that you develop for distribution inside or outside of your company.
You may make backup copies of Drag-N-Dropper that are to be used as backups only.
COPYRIGHT
The software is owned by Peter's Software and is protected by United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the software like any other copyrighted material (e.g., a book or musical recording) except that you may make copies of the software for backup or archival purposes or transfer the software to a single hard disk provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes only. You may not copy the written materials accompanying the software.
OTHER RESTRICTIONS
You may not rent or lease the software. You may not transfer the software. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create a derivative from the software.
SOURCE CODE
If you purchase Drag-N-Dropper, you will adhere to the same terms and conditions of this agreement, which includes the agreement in full, and the license, for the source code. In addition, you agree that source code will not be resold as a stand alone product in direct or indirect competition of the software.
REVOCATION
You also agree that this software and license will remain the sole property of Peter's Software at all times. Peter's Software reserves the right to revoke this license at any time and at its sole discretion. Upon revocation, the end user agrees to surrender all software and source code immediately retaining no copies of such. |
