| This program is for splitting large files for easier distribution. (Or if you are a spy, you can divide a file up and even encrypt it for security reasons...) Using either a normal window or a wizard interface, files can be split by either the number of files that you want, the maximum file size, or you can use preset common sizes for EMailing, floppies, Zips, CDs, etc... The program can Chop and UnChop files in Wizard and normal interface, and supports file time and attributes preserving, CRC, command line operation and even encryption. However, if size is an absolute priority and you do not need any of the more advanced features of Chop, you can instead set Chop to create a very small BAT file to rebuild the file. Chop is written in Assembly Language for maximum efficiency and minimum size. |

| Permission is given for all forms of distribution, including CD compilations and Websites. Just keep it in the ZIP file to keep the files together. To help Sinner Computing keep track of its distribution we would like an EMail from you to get a general idea of its usage, and also to encourage further improvement. Advice/insults (on the subject of the program, not the programmer) are also welcome. People who EMail can also be added to a mailing list and be sent the newest version. Simply send an EMail with "ChopADD" in the subject. (The address is at the top of this file and also in the program itself in the "Chop Info" window.) To be removed from this list, write an EMail with "ChopREMOVE" in the subject. Sinner Computing does not give out your EMail address to anyone. |

Once you have evaluated Chop then you are required to pay the Registration Fee if you wish to continue using it. How long can you evaluate Chop for? As long as you see fit! However, the program will start reminding (nagging) you of Chops Shareware status after about 30 days. Registered users receive priority support, but currently all EMails are responded to as fast as possible.
Sinner Computing accepts no liability for this software to the maximum extent allowable by law. Installing this software is the decision of the installer, and signifies that you agree with this liability statement. Thus, any unintentional damage/loss caused by the use of this software is not in any way Sinner Computing's responsibility, even if it is Sinner Computing's fault.
