As against other similar programs Change Folder Icons changes folder icons so that while copying to another computer, CD or any removable drive bright icons are kept.
Also you can view changed icons via Network and set colourful icons for network folders.
With a help of Change Folder Icons you can:
- change icon of the folder pressing right mouse button on it and selecting pop-up menu item;
- change icon of the drive as well as folder selecting "Change Drive Icon" item from drive pop-up menu;
- search icons in all your computer files starting with selected folder;
- search icons with specified parameters "Number of colors" and "Size in pixels";
- extract icons from any type of files (.exe, .dll, .lib, .icl etc.);
- export all icons from file to .ico files;
- find all folder icons changed by another program or manually and make them portable to another place and independent from the icon source files;
- set description for folders, which you can see in Windows Explorer;
- make your own libraries from found icons.

by NeSoft Inc.

3. There are 2 basic types of licenses issued for Change Folder Icons, these are:
a. A SINGLE COMPUTER USAGE LICENSE. The user purchases

The registered Change Folder Icons software may not be rented or
leased, but may be permanently transferred, in it's entirety,
if the person receiving it agrees to the terms of this license.
If the software is an update, the transfer must include the

4. The Change Folder Icons unregistered trial version, may be
freely distributed, with exceptions noted below, provided the
distribution package is not modified. No person or company may
