CD/Spectrum Pro is a CD/MP3 Player with Graphical Spectrum Analyzer for Windows. It has several independent parts: CD Audio player, Spectrum Analyzer, Mixer, MediaFiles (MP3/WAV) Player, Synchronized Visuals Window, etc. The CD Audio player has almost every feature you can find on any software CD player - programmed mode, intro mode, optional taskbar icon
operation,auto-play, auto-exit, auto-eject, artist/track/title database, CDDB support,etc. The spectrum analyzer graphically depicts the frequency spectra of the CD music in real time. (Unless you don't have a Pentium, in which case it is *almost* real time

) The MediaFiles player will play MP3 and WAV files. (A 90Mhz or better Pentium is required to decode MP3 files.) You may use any or all of the components without effect on the others. In other words, if you don't like the CD player, you can close it and use only the spectrum analyzer, or the other way around.
This new version of CD/Spectrum Pro was written to work in conjunction with The Psychedelic Screen Saver, and/or The Kinemorphic 3D Screen Saver, and/or the Hypnogenic Screen Saver to provide stunning visuals that'dance to the beat'of the music you play on the CD or in the MediaFiles module. |

Definition of Shareware
Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before
buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you
are expected to register. Individual programs differ on details - some
request registration while others require it, some specify a maximum
trial period. With registration, you get anything from the simple
right to continue using the software to an updated program with
printed manual.
Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software, and
the copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific
exceptions as stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished
programmers, just like commercial authors, and the programs are
of comparable quality. (In both cases, there are good programs and
bad ones!) The main difference is in the method of distribution. The
author specifically grants the right to copy and distribute the
software, either to all and sundry or to a specific group. For
example, some authors require written permission before a
commercial disk vendor may copy their Shareware.
