| CalcuNote is an arithmetic calculator, adding machine, and time calculator that records and documents your calculations on multiple tapes which you can edit. Use it to (1) make simple everyday calculations, (2) organize and work simultaneously with several separate but related calculations, (3) make and record complex sets of interrelated calculations, (4) verify, revise, and reuse your calculations, (5) document your calculations for future reference, and (6) communicate them to other people. Type directly onto a tape. Record calculations the same way you would write them on a sheet of paper. Edit tapes anywhere, anytime by typing over the tape contents. Change, insert, delete, annotate, sort entries. Cut, copy, paste tape lines, tape sections, entire tapes. Link entries (like spreadsheet references). Embed calculations within calculations. Store calculation results in a table. Show a running total, group totals, grand totals, item counts. Print a tape to a printer, an Internet Document (htm) file, or a Microsoft Word Document (doc) file - (requires Word 97, or a later version, installed on your computer). Save tapes to a file. Open and work with more than one file at a time. Use up to 20 tapes per file to organize separate but related calculations. |

CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING LEGAL AGREEMENT. USE OR DISTRIBUTION OF THE SOFTWARE PROVIDED WITH THIS AGREEMENT (THE"SOFTWARE") CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT INSTALL, USE, AND/OR DISTRIBUTE THIS SOFTWARE. USE OR DISTRIBUTION OF THIS SOFTWARE IS CONDITIONED UPON COMPLIANCE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
EVALUATION VERSION
Solutionwright Software grants you a non-exclusive license to install and use one copy of the evaluation version of this SOFTWARE on any number of computers for a period of not more than 60 days. After 60 days you must either (1) pay for, and register, the SOFTWARE according to the terms and prices as set forth on the website at www.calcunote.com, or (2) uninstall the SOFTWARE from all computer systems.
REGISTERED VERSION - SINGLE-USER LICENSE
Solutionwright Software grants you a non-exclusive single-user license to install and use a registered copy of this SOFTWARE on one or more computers, provided that only one of the copies is used at any given time."You"means the person, company, organization, agency, institution, or other entity whose funds are used to pay the single-user license fee.
A single-user license does not permit the SOFTWARE to be shared across a network.
REGISTERED VERSION - MULTI-USER LICENSE
Solutionwright Software grants you a non-exclusive license to install and use, simultaneously, a registered copy of this SOFTWARE on as many computers as the purchase price of the multi-user license permits, provided that all the computers on which this SOFTWARE is installed are owned or leased by you.
Furthermore, for each Desktop or non-portable computer for which a license for this SOFTWARE is purchased, and on which this SOFTWARE is installed, you may install one other copy on a single portable computer, provided that both the non-portable and portable computers are owned or leased by you, and provided that the copies of this SOFTWARE on such a non-portable and portable computer pair are not used simultaneously."You"means the person, company, organization, agency, institution, or other entity whose funds are used to pay the multi-user license fee.
A multi-user license does not permit the SOFTWARE to be shared across a network.
ALL VERSIONS AND LICENSE TYPES
1. LICENSE. You may not modify the SOFTWARE or disable any licensing or control features of the SOFTWARE except as an intended part of the SOFTWARE's programming features.
2. LICENSE TRANSFERABILITY. A license is not transferable to another person, company, organization, agency, institution, or other entity.
3. OWNERSHIP. The SOFTWARE is owned and copyrighted by Solutionwright Software. Your license confers no title or ownership in the SOFTWARE and should not be construed as a sale of any right in the SOFTWARE.
4. COPYRIGHT. The SOFTWARE is protected by United States copyright law and international treaty provisions. You acknowledge that no title to the intellectual property in the SOFTWARE is transferred to you. You further acknowledge that title and full ownership rights to the SOFTWARE will remain the exclusive property of Solutionwright Software and you will not acquire any rights to the SOFTWARE except as expressly set forth in this license. You agree that any copies of the SOFTWARE will contain the same proprietary notices which appear on and in the SOFTWARE.
5. REVERSE ENGINEERING. You agree that you will not attempt to reverse compile, modify, translate, or disassemble the SOFTWARE in whole or in part.

IN NO EVENT WILL SOLUTIONWRIGHT SOFTWARE'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, EXCEED THE LICENSE FEE PAID BY YOU, IF ANY.
10. GOVERNING LAW. This license will be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois as they are applied to agreements between Illinois residents entered into and to be performed entirely within Illinois . The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is specifically disclaimed.
11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT. This is the entire agreement between you and Solutionwright Software which supersedes any prior agreement or understanding, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of this license. |
