Button Painter is an add-in for Microsoft Access that adds smooth gradient colors to your command buttons and allows for button color changes on mouse over and when buttons are clicked. You can create buttons similar to those used in Office/Outlook 2003 by default, or you can specify your own custom button colors. Add a nice cosmetic touch to your application and impress your boss, or your clients with this colorful and professional looking enhancement.
When invoked from the Add-In menu, the Button Painter setup procedure updates* your application forms by adding special controls and event procedures. Your standard, bland MS Access command buttons will then come to life with color gradients that blend in with the Windows color scheme. You'll be able to easily add and remove these effects without affecting the function of your application.
The demo includes an example of an order entry application that has an MS Outlook 2003 look and feel.
This version is distributed as shareware.
* Because Button Painter updates your forms, it is highly recommended that you make a backup of your database prior to using it. |

By downloading, purchasing and / or using this software you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this agreement. GRANT OF LICENSE
Peter's Software grants you the following rights which depend on the version of Button Painter registered and / or downloaded:
Button Painter (shareware version, registered):
- can be used on one computer for application development purposes and/or for use incorporated within an application installed on that computer.
(Button Painter licenses are sold in bundles starting with 5 user licenses.)
Button Painter (unlimited, royalty free distribution license with source code):
- can be used for software development on any number of computers within your own company.
- can be incorporated into any number of applications that you develop for distribution inside or outside of your company.
You may make a backup copy of Button Painter that is to be used as a backup only.
COPYRIGHT
The software is owned by Peter's Software and is protected by United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the software like any other copyrighted material (e.g., a book or musical recording) except that you may make copies of the software for backup or archival purposes or transfer the software to a single hard disk provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes only. You may not copy the written materials accompanying the software.
OTHER RESTRICTIONS
You may not rent or lease the software. You may not transfer the software. You may not reverse engineer or create a derivative from the software.
SOURCE CODE
If you purchase Button Painter with source code, you will adhere to the same terms and conditions of this agreement, which includes the agreement in full, and the license, for the source code. In addition, you agree that source code will not be resold as a stand alone product in direct or indirect competition of the software.
REVOCATION
You also agree that this software and license will remain the sole property of Peter's Software at all times. Peter's Software reserves the right to revoke this license at any time and at its sole discretion. Upon revocation, the end user agrees to surrender all software and source code immediately retaining no copies of such. |
