BCGControlBar is an MFC extension library that allows you to create Microsoft Office 2000/XP/2003 and Microsoft Visual Studio.NET-like applications with full customization (customizable toolbars, menus, keyboard and more).
BCGControlBar library has more than 150 thoroughly designed, tested and fully documented MFC extension classes. Our components can be easily incorporated into your application and save hundreds of development and debugging hours.
BCGControlBar Professional Edition is an MFC extension library that includes such advanced features like detachable tab windows, auto hide windows, docking control bars and toolbars that display context while dragging, new docking algorithms (similar to algorithms introduced in Microsoft Visual Studio.NET environment and Microsoft Visio), shortcut bars with detachable panes, tabbed toolbars, text editor with syntax highlighting and IntelliSense-style support, completely flat look and more.
The library architecture is based on our own (non-MFC), but MFC-compatible implementation of control bars.
Most of the new features are enabled and managed automatically by the library core. Also, we expect very smooth and easy migration/upgrade of your existing code from the Standard Edition or pure MFC application to Professional. |

BCGControlBar Library License Agreement
The enclosed software that includes source code, sample programs, libraries and documentation (hereinafter the Software) is licensed, not sold, to you by BCGSoft Ltd. (BCGSoft) or its distributors for use only under the terms of this License, and BCGSoft reserves any rights not expressly granted to you. You own the media on which the Software is recorded or fixed, but BCGSoft retains ownership of the Software itself.
Commercial Software refers to the Software that is registered for using in commercial applications. Shareware Software refers to the Software that is registered for using in shareware applications. Freeware Software refers to the Software that is registered for using in freeware applications or for educational purposes.
1. License.
BCGSoft grants to you the license that allows you to use only one copy of the Software on a single computer at any one time. You are not required to pay any royalty fees for the Software.
Under the terms of this license you may:
1.1. Incorporate the Commercial Software into any number of products.
1.2. Incorporate the Shareware Software or Freeware Software only into one product the Software is registered for.
1.3. Make an unlimited number of copies with any modifications in any fashion, provided that such copies shall be used only internally and are not distributed or republished.
1.4. Use and modify the Examples, provided you do not distribute or republish the Examples, or any modified version of the Examples in the source code form.
The Software is in use when you develop any source code depended on the Software and link your projects to the libraries (original or modified).
You shall not:
1. Distribute or publish any part of the Software (original or modified) unless you have received a written permission from BCGSoft.
2. Redistribute the Software as a part of a software development library without a written permission from BCGSoft.
3. Do not pass to any user registration number, which you have received from BCGSoft.
4. You may not lend, give, rent, lease, sub-license and transfer the Registered Software and related materials to other parties without the written permission of BCGSoft.
2. Copyright.
The Software is owned by BCGSoft and is protected by International copyright laws and treaty provisions.
CBCGSizingControlBar class is based on the code owned by Cristi Posea and was included into the Software with personal permission of the author. See http://www.datamekanix.com/copyright.html for details.
3. LIMITED WARRANTY/LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
This Software is licensed AS IS. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the Software, remove it from your computer system and destroy all copies of it. These warranties are in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will BCGSoft be liable to you for damages, including any loss of profits, lost savings, or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Software, even if BCGSoft has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
4. INDEMNIFICATION.
By installing and using the Software, you hereby agree to save and hold harmless BCGSoft from any loss, direct or consequential damage, or claim incurred by you resulting from reliance upon the results obtained through the use of the Software. |
