If you need sometimes to be aware of some word meaning then Artefact Dictionary is for you. Just select a word in the text you reading and you will get an explanation of this word in a small window which will appear under the selected word. Also you can hear the correct pronunciation of the word you searched. This package includes explanatory Webster's Dictionary (about 120 000 articles). Also you can download some other dictionaries (English-Spanish, English-German, etc.).

Evaluation and Registration
Artefact Dictionary is not free software. You may use this software for
evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 30 days. If
you use this software after the 30 day evaluation period, you
must pay registration fee. You can't sell this software or
use it in commercial purposes.
Distribution of the evaluation version
You may copy the evaluation version of this software and documentation
as you wish, and give exact copies of the original evaluation version
to anyone, and distribute the evaluation version of the software and
documentation in its unmodified form via electronic means. But you
should not charge or requesting donations for any such copies
however made and from distributing the software and/or documentation
with other products without the author's written permission.
Registered version
One registered copy of Artefact Dictionary may either be used by a number of
users depending on the registration type who use the software personally
on one or more computers, or installed on a number of workstations
depending on the registration type used simultaneously by multiple people,
but not both. You may access the registered version of Artefact Dictionary
through a network, provided that your license type covering all
workstations that will access the software through the network.

Artefact Dictionary integrates into the system and allows you to get an translation of any word or expression, regardless of which application displayed it. All you need to do - is to hold 'Alt' (or some other) key and select some text by the mouse.
