AmiPic is fully customizable Web and Usenet search and download manager, file-sharing tool and image viewer.It downloads files from web pages and Usenet newsgroups - pictures, audio, movies and other files, even not visible for regular visitors (steganography), as well as whole web sites, including huge mp3 and photo galleries. In addition to searching for web pages matching your topics of interest it saves web sites content (files and web pages) on hard disk. You can force it to use any custom search rules and add new search engines manually without need for program update.
AmiPic ShareMaster has fast image viewer capable of URL tracking. It means that when you see an interesting picture in image viewer you also see the URL address of the web site where this picture originally resides and you are one click away from visiting this web site.
You can safely share files posted on your web site without even letting others know your web site URL address! Using magic files you can hide pictures, movies and mp3 files in other binary files, such as mpeg video clips or pictures. AmiPic ShareMaster decodes magic files and extracts URL information from distributed database files in both download modes (hidden and regular web sites download), as well as in Usenet binaries download mode (newsgroups autoscan).
When used as Usenet binaries downloader it fully supports UUencode, Base64 and yEncoding; automatic multipart files reconstruction, up to 16 news servers and up to 8 simultaneous connections to each server. It has file splitter (splits large files into pieces with extensions .001, .002, .003, etc.) and can even join files splitted by other programs, such as MasterSplitter or QuickPar.
AmiPic is safe to use because it is designed with respect to your privacy! It keeps all sensitive information in encrypted form, has password protection option for your projects, allows off-line file sharing, can connect to Internet through totally anonymous SOCKS proxy servers. |
